Isai Meza, DWI Driver Arrested

Early Sunday morning Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy Skero was once again confronted by an intoxicated driver for the second time on his shift.
Skero was driving north on Old Houston Road when a vehicle approached him from the opposite direction. The driver of the truck flashed his bright lights at Skero. At that point the driver came into Skero’s lane of traffic coming head-on at the patrol car and forcing it to the ditch. Skero was able to turn around on the driver to see him going side to side on the roadway. As the pickup turned into a private drive the deputy topped him.
The driver of the vehicle Isai Meza Meza, 26, of 274 Eastwood was visibly intoxicated and had only a Texas identification card. He had no drivers license. To intoxicated to even stand as he was cuffed and put into the patrol car. Even then he kept asking the deputy if he was arrested.
He was transported to Conroe where a nurse was standing by as part of the “No Refusal”. Meza attempted to fight off not just the blood draw but also allowing deputies to get his mug shot.
He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated, third or more. His was denied bond as he is currently n bond for another DWI he recently encountered.
On April 8, 2010 Meza was charged with accident involving over $200 damage to a vehicle, which was dismissed on August 25, 2012 in County Court 5 of Montgomery County.
On July 16, 2010 Meza was arrested for DWI and on August 23, 2010 and given 3 days in the county jail and a $2,000 fine. His license was suspended for 90 days.
On May 15, 2011 Meza was once again arrested for DWI and charged with DWI 2nd. On June 3, 2011 once again in County Court 5 his attorney Michael Valdez was able to negotiate a sentence of  70 days in jail and $382.10 in court costs with no fine and install an ignition interlock on his vehicle. Valdez, who was court appointed received $50 for his services to the county.
On November 5, 2011 Meza was arrested by Conroe Police for possession of controlled substance. For that charge he plead guilty in the 221st District Court.  He received 30 days  in jail on November 29, 2011.
On February 4, 2012 once again came before the judge in County Court 5. This time it was due to him not paying his court ordered fees assessed in his 2011 DWI charge. The judge sentenced him to 7 days in the Montgomery County Jail and the money owed be credited by time served.
On September 2, 2012 Meza was once again arrested for DWI. This time he was charged with DWI 3rd or more, a felony charge. He has a scheduled date in the 284th District Court on January 8, 2013.
