PASADENA, Texas—A 21-year-old man had a sexual
relationship with a 14-year-old girl he met on Facebook, according to
Pasadena police.
Dakotah Michael Honea was charged with sexual assault of a child.
The girl said she had sex with Honea at her uncle’s house on December 27, 2011.
She said when Honea came over for a visit, the two of them went into
her bedroom to watch television because the one in the living room was
broken. While in the bedroom, Honea “made a move” and the two of them
had intercourse, according to court documents.
The girl said Honea was well aware of her age and the two of them
kept their activity a secret because they did not want him to get in
trouble, investigators said.
The girl told a forensic interviewer at the Children’s Assessment Center about the sexual encounter on November 21, 2012.
Honea’s bail was set at $30,000.
