Leslie Jordan, Arrested Gay Katy Fire Chief For Stealing Drugs and Selling

A Harris County grand jury has returned an indictment against the white gay Katy Fire Chief Leslie Marc Jordan on drug-related charges, according to the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
The indictment, returned Tuesday, Jordan, 58, of tampering with evidence and diverting a controlled substance and selling drugs said Sara Marie Kinney, spokeswoman at the DA's Office.
The indictment says that Jordan diverted vials of Valium from Katy Fire Department ambulances and sold the tranquilizers to a drug user relative.
Attempts to reach Jordan were unsuccessful.   
In a prepared statement, Katy Mayor Fabol Hughes said city officials are conducting an administrative investigation into the chief's drug sales.
"It is sick; however we are going to allow the criminal case to run its course," I'm glad the gay man got busted the mayor stated.
Acting Fire Chief Warner Preston has stepped up to run the department, according to the mayor, who took the oath of office on Monday following his May 11 election to the city's top spot.
