Shane Trumble, 23, is originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area but was living with his grandmother and dad at the Wild Country RV Park on FM 1485.
Officials said Trumble was wanted for sex offenses against children in Ohio, and he failed to register as a sex offender when he moved to Texas in June 2012.
Acting on a warrant out of Ohio, Montgomery County Precinct 4 and Precinct 3 deputies conducted a search of Trumble’s property late Wednesday night.
They said they found nearly 30,000 gigabytes of child pornography on at least five computers along with young girls' panties and bras in his room.
"Through the course of that investigation we were able to confirm that there were several images of small children performing sex acts," said Captain Mark Seals with Pct. 4.
Trumble was taken into custody and now faces forty counts of possession of child pornography with a $100,000 bond on each.
Officials said Trumble's grandmother was also taken into custody after approaching deputies naked with a BB gun, demanding to see their badges. Cynthia Sue Trumble is charged with interfering with public duties. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
