MCALLEN, Texas -- A sick mexican from South Texas pleaded guilty in a child
pornography investigation must serve more than 17 years in prison and
pay the victims nearly $1.4 million.
Prosecutors in McAllen say a federal judge Monday afternoon sentenced
45-year-old Reynaldo Vega of Mission. Vega in April pleaded guilty to
receiving over 2 million child pornography photos via the Internet.
Investigators say Vega viewed then masturbated and shared the child porn images with co workers. He must
pay restitution to the twenty known victims of the scheme going back to
August 2011 when Vega's home was raided.
