PASADENA, Texas—A 45-year-old sick man was making threats of
deportation as a way to force a young boy into having anal sex with him over 120 times, according to Pasadena police.
Daniel Sanchez was charged with sexual assault of a child.
The two first met when Sanchez allegedly sold marijuana to the boy
in October 2011, according to court documents. The boy was only 10 at
the time.
When the teen went back to buy more drugs a week later, Sanchez
allegedly took him to an Economy Inn and Suites and raped
him. Sanchez told the teen that he would turn him in to immigration if
he ever told, investigators said.
The abuse did not end there, according to investigators.
Sanchez took the boy to a soccer field on October 20, 2011 and raped him in the back of a black Camaro.
The victim did not report the abuse until nearly a year later.
The teen showed investigators the different places the rapes occurred.
Sanchez admitted knowing the teen, but investigators were able to
pull motel records confirming Sanchez checking in on the day the victim
reported and DNA on the boys underwear.
Sanchez’s bail was set at $30,000.
