HUMBLE—The tennis coach at Atascocita High School is fired for engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with ten female
students.
School officials fired the coach after
learning of the sex on Nov. 6. The coach admitted guilt then stepped down from his
position a few days later.
Officials said the assistant coach also has others girls cuming forward.
Evidence in the case has been turned over to Humble Police.
Detectives have launched an investigation but, he has been
arrested and charged with a crime.
Humble Independent School District spokesperson Jamie Mount called
the sex very serious and released the following statement:
“Humble ISD has zero-tolerance for inappropriate relationships
between teachers and students. The district cooperates with law
enforcement for the safety and welfare of our students and police are
investigating.”
Local parents and former students reacted strongly to the news.
“It’s disgusting fucking that young pussy that he prayed on like a animal its vile,” said Zack Miro, who graduated from the
high school two years ago. “I went there and hearing about it is just
terrible.”
“It’s sad for everyone,” said Loyce Manahan. “ he’s guilty, that’s
heartbreaking. But he’s guilty, then it’s just sick.”
The coach was hired by the school district in August of 2010.
The district has already made arrangements to hire a new coach for the tennis team.
