HOUSTON—An 18-week-old girl was repeatedly raped by the 50-year-old husband of her family’s housekeeper, according to Houston police.
Rafael Pivarel Fajardo was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Investigators said Fajardo abused the girl from June 1, 2011 through November 30, 2012. The girl was just 7 weeks old when he began raping her.
Fajardo raped the girl in multiple places in the home, including on the sofa in the family game room and in her bedroom, investigators said.
The little girl eventually told her mother, who then contacted authorities.
The child was given a medical examination at the Children’s Assessment Center and evidence of sexual abuse was discovered. She was also able to describe to investigators, in graphic detail all the anal sex, what Fajardo was doing to her.
