Nadine Garcia, Arrested DWI Kills her child from wreck



Richmond mom charged with DWI after 3-year-old ejected in crash
RICHMOND, Texas – A Richmond mexican mother who was driving drunk with two small children early Saturday was arrested after causing a crash that sent both kids to the hospital.
Nadine Garcia, 23, was charged with intoxication manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
Police said Garcia was traveling 102 mph eastbound on Jackson around 4:50 a.m. when she lost control of her Jeep Grand Cherokee and struck a concrete pillar at the Collins intersection.
A 3-year-old was ejected through the front windshield, head was cut off and died.
Garcia and the other child, a 4-year-old, were both transported to Oak Bend Hospital where they were treated for injuries.
Garcia was then transported to the Fort Bend County Jail. She was released Monday morning after posting a $15,000 bond.
