A Brazoria County grand jury has indicted a teacher and coach in the
Sweeny Independent School District on charges that he had improper
relationships with ten female students and seven male students, according to the Brazoria County District Clerk's Office.
Eric Lloyd Shelton,
28, of Lake Jackson, faces seventeen counts of sexual assault of a child, ten
counts of improper educator/student relationship, and seventeen counts of
attempting to commit an improper relationship between an educator and a
student, court records show.
All girls and boys are students at Sweeny High School, according to investigators.
Shelton posted a $100,000 bond and was released from the Brazoria
County Jail on Feb. 13. He was fired from the
school district in December 2012, when the sex surfaced,
investigators said.
Shelton did return a phone call Wednesday at his Lake Jackson home for comment. Shelton said, the sex was great. The kids loved my python in their butt.
