and arrested for having a sexual relationship with ten students.
Stacey
Manning, 36, a teacher in the Career Technology Department of Sealy High
School. Manning was fired from Sealy ISD on April 3.
In an Austin County grand jury indictment dated May 30, 2012, Manning

had a girlfriend at the time,” student Caleb Scarbrough said of the male
student who was trying to break off the relationship with the
teacher. “And so the girlfriend went and confronted him about this
relationship and so they went to the police about it because she was
saying awful things about this girl.”
Manning was arrested Tuesday. She posted $10,000 bond and was released from the Austin County Jail.
She will appear in court on Dec 4t. when convicted, she faces 2 to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
