A mexican man wanted in a child sexual assault case led Pasadena police on a chase.
Police were preparing to arrest Israel Montoya Alcaraz, 28, on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.
Alcaraz
saw police entering a nearby parking lot and left, officials. He led
police on a 20-minute chase, then stopped his vehicle near Texas 225 and
Goodyear Drive, where he was taken into custody, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Police
arrested Alcaraz after investigating a child sexual assault reported on
July 9. Arrest warrants were issued for him on Thursday.
Combined bail on the charges was set at $50,000.
